Loved it! We sat in the comfortable bar/lounge area which has comfortable deep seats - more like a cocktail lounge with a TV and nice decor. We ordered Steak and Chicken from the grill with fried rice and shrimp tempura as an appetizer. Everything was hot and fresh and so tasty. I even liked the stir-fried vegetables that came as a side - and you get a soup and salad too! Great dressing on the salad and the sauces they serve to go with the chicken and steak are very tasty and really liven up the flavors. It was one of the better restaurants we found in PTC and look forward to going back! We had plenty of left overs so the portions are generous!

Didn't know what to expect with some mixed reviews in the history, but we grabbed the kids and went for it. We weren't disappointed. Staff was attentive to the kids and the hibachi chef played around with them a lot. I started with Mr. Fuji roll (sushi) which was fantastic. Then on to filet, which was perfectly cooked and really tender. My wife had lobster and she loved it. Portions were amazing--nobody could eat everything that was served, but I was happy to take it home for next-day lunch. We really enjoyed the evening and the food, and this will be one of our family's go-to places.

I love sushi- hands down that is my favorite food. But I am not much of a plain California roll or just spicy tuna person. I like to play with various combinations of fish and taste textures and tastes. Mr Ben who is the owner of this places loves to cook but more then that he loves to feed people. If you tell him what fish you like- he will make sure that your pallet had a rumba and a salsa before you leave. He gives personal attention to everything and these small personal touches count. Loved this place and food was amazing. Most of Sushi is due to the quality of fish and ingredient used. They use the best quality fish and freshest of ingredients. Must try this place out even if you have to drive 30 mins.

This place is awesome. Coming from Los Angeles for work, we went here and ate the best Hibachi food ever. And I've been to Benihana several times in LA. And the Sushi, my wife and I love it. I think it's better than most of the Sushi Restaurants in LA. With affordable price too. The best part of the Sushi bar is Chef Benjamin! We made friends with him since we go there often while we live here for 8 months. He knows what we want. And every single visit, he makes us different rolls or sashimi to die for. He is very nice to talk to and will miss this place when I go back to LA. I will definitely visit here again whenever I come back to Atlanta area.

I have to say their food is pretty good. However, the service is AWFUL! Every time I have been there I have had to wait a long time for food and service, and the staff isn't very friendly. Today I went there and had an awful experience. I will not be going back. I ordered the lunch sashimi and even pointed to what I wanted but ended up getting the wrong thing. Easy mistake to fix and no big deal, however some waitress who didn't even take my order tried to say that I had gotten what I ordered. When I explained to her that I hadn't, she asked if I ordered the wrong thing, never apologized and said I needed to pay the dollar difference...really??? Needless to say I got my money back and won't be returning. I ended up placing my order at the place right next door close to Kroger called Stix Sushi. MUCH better service and comparable food quality. I would recommend going there!

About 3 months ago, I ordered their rice with the white creamy sauce and got food poisoning right after eating a couple of bites. I thought it was chance so I went back about 4 days ago. Guess who has food poisoning again?

My first "real" sushi experience! The Crispy Philly Roll is fantastic! Be aware that the restaurant does close between lunch and dinner for a couple of hours. I've only tried the salad one time, but I do not recommend it--the dressing was quite awful. Perhaps it was just a bad batch, but I won't be ordering a salad again. Otherwise, it was fantastic!

Where do I begin? No management to be seen, waitstaff clueless. Chefs fine and food good and plentiful. But table not wiped down, and bathroom floor so slimy I almost slid down. Waitstaff chit chatting instead of working. I knew I needed to tip to support the chefs but it hurt A LOT.

I can't say much for the hibachi, as I pretty much hit the sushi bar every time. Benjamin, the sushi chef I see most often, is VERY good, and he remembers who I am and what I like. He knows when he has a particular fish that is perhaps better than usual and may recommend rolls that have that as a part of the roll, or if it is REALLY good and you're up for it, he'll recommend sashimi. Don't be afraid to try this place, and if you do, share with Benjamin what kinds of sushi you like. He may even customize a roll for you.

Love the sushi rolls here - some of the best I've had. You don't even want soy sauce with your sushi because the flavor is so great. I love the hibachi here - for dinner, it's around $12-20 for a dish. I think the food here is beautiful, and the fried rice is great. Not a huge fan of the meat here though.

This was the first time in my life that I have had hibachi. And I loved it!!!! The chef was hilarious, and my chicken was great. I laughed at the little show along with the 10 year olds at our table, and it was just a fun, different dining experience. Nice building. Lots of kids there so I would not say it makes for a romantic atmosphere, but the BF and I had fun along with all those kiddos. Food was very good and the location was good if you live in the PTC.

Food was great. But service was disappointing. I had to ask for napkins utensils chopsticks and refills. We were the only table in the restaurant.

This place is the best local hibachi restaurant with so-so sushi options. The chefs are well versed in the classic hibachi tricks and banter, most are very friendly with kids and toddlers. The wait staff namely depends on he day and time. You can tell that the staff is lacking sorely during week day lunched when there may be a pair of wait staff for the entire restaurant. Evenings and weekends are typically better staffed with seasoned veterans. The sushi is moderate to premium quality depending on what you order. The more common the better to exotic and you might end up with something you weren't expecting at all. The hibachi table entree is served with a mushroom broth soup, ginger salad, white rice (fried rice extra of course), and vegetables. Typically the courses start with soup then salad while the chef starts grill prep and then any fried rice. Then depending on the entree order usually meat then vegetables. Portions are typically doggy bag inducing although if you are a new face seated with known regulars you may see a slight difference in portions amongst fried rice and veggies but nothing that will leave you hungry. Entrees are rarely tempered with a full spatula serving for every if common entrees are shared. Pricing is decent especially if you can tolerate weak staff service for lunch specials which can be as cheap as $7 for an entire meal. The catch is the somewhat higher priced sushi and drinks, anything but water will add $3 to your tab per drink so a family of four can add up quickly if you have H2O phobics amongst you. Alcohol is available but anything but beer us pure luxury due to cost even the limited saki options. The atmosphere is plain and uninteresting prompting table talk which is the whole point of a social meal like hibachi. The facility is clean and well kept. I'm giving three stars mainly due to having better hibachi experiences elsewhere but this is still a solid go too locally.

I travel for a living, and I love sushi. I have eaten at sushi bars numbering in the 100s and I have to say that this place is my favorite! The menu selection is fair, but the quality of the fish is out of this world. The chef is enthusiastic about making new things that are not necessarily on the menu to help accommodate my food allergies. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

ooooooohhhhhhhhh THANK GOD!! I found a place in PTC that I could eat at again and again with no problems. Everything I would get in California was on the menu.....I was soooooo happy to find Cali Rolls Tempuraed!! yay! We also had a tempura sweet potato roll! I am allergic to mushrooms and they were extremely accommodating. We got extra salad instead of the soup. Ok, then I steak hibachi, i usually go for Filet Mignon but I wanted to try the teriyaki sauce.....OH BOY... sooo good. But my friends, it was the RICE that was the real show stopper...well, to be precise, it was the creamy white sauce they give dumped over my rice.......words don't describe my joy. I don't go back to Georgia for another month and a week and all I want to do is step off my plane and eat the Mr. Fuji. I want Mr. Fuji for Christmas and I am seriously considering having Mr. Fuji after my wedding!

We spent about $50 and ordered sushi. The woman who took our order had an apple in her mouth and yelled instead of speaking to us. We asked for extra ginger. She yelled that it was in there. It wasn't. When we returned after 20 minutes to pick up the to go order she still had an apple in her mouth while working with customers. She acted as if it was a bother to help customers. The food was average at best. We will not return.

I came here with family to try their Hibachi Grill, and it was awesome. The chef was fun and entertained the kids :). The grill entrees were yummy, though a bit on a pricey side for the meat options. Oh and even if you are watching your carbs, DO NOT pass on the fried rice, it's really tasty here! We also ordered some sushi rolls: some were awesome, most decent and a couple were mweh... but overall a good bet if you are craving sushi or hibachi :)

So I have been here a couple of times, but the last one was definitely the best. My fiance and I went here for lunch for the hibachi grill. It was awesome because no one else came so we had the whole table to ourselves. The waitress was very nice and told us all about their sushi selection and that we could get anything we wanted tempura (fried) as we like our sushi that way and if there was anything else we wanted to customize to just let her know. The chef was personable and funny and we had told them that my fiance was allergic to mushrooms so they didn't even bring them out to cook them as this has been an issue at other teppan places we have dined at. The food was delicious. I got the steak and chicken combo and my fiance the NY steak strip. The fried rice was very good and my fiance loves dumping the white sauce all over the rice. Very tasty! Very good place and I hope they continue to do well there as I will want to go back many times to come.

My son and I enjoyed dinner @ Mr. Fuji last night and it was one of my most enjoyed experiences at a hibachi restaurant. The staff was very friendly, the service was excellent. And the YUM YUM sauce was devine, the chef ended up leaving his entire bottle of yum yum sauce (with me and the baby). I had teriyaki chicken, shrimp and filet mignon they all were cooked perfectly. My son had teriyaki chicken and steak he enjoyed his entire meal with nothing left over he's growing boy. I actually packed a full to go box, the portion sizes are HUGE... We will be regulars @ Mr. Fuji and will bring all my friends there to enjoy the atmosphere... Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!

Food poisoning right after they opened. Never been back. Heard they have new owners so I bumped it to 2 starts. There are plenty of alternatives including Kobe down near Walmart. My parents go once in a while... my memory is that it was expensive, crowded, and my whole family got sick. I sure hope your experience is better then mine. Maybe they've changed? I won't be returning to find out though.

THis place is great, they have new owners and Benjamin, the sushi chef is incredible along with Helmy, the Hibachi chef. Service is great and they have two nice servers, Sara and Ryan. Can't wait to go back. If you don't want the hibachi show, their menu items are also very good.

We met some friends at Mr. Fuji for supper last night. I chose this place due to the reviews here on yelp. It was sooo good! I got the chicken and filet mignon and it was fantastic. They give you HUGE portions so be prepared to either 1) eat yourself sick or 2) plan on taking about half of it home with you. They give one person enough rice for about 4 people. It is a little ridiculous (but hey, better too much than not enough). I am a fan of Japanese steakhouses and this one did not disappoint. As a few other yelpers pointed out, yes, the white sauce is quite tasty. The restaurant is clean and we lucked out and got the quieter of the two chefs, which was a nice bonus. Highly recommended!

Great food. Their white sauce is great! Limited beer selection. We go all the time and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal! Ask for Chef B. He is the best. Funny, personable, and very entertaining.
